Cottage Arrival Instructions:
When you arrive in the Temagami area (just south of the town of
Temagami), turn left onto the Lake Temagami Access Road if you're
coming from the south, or right if you're coming from the north (watch
for our sign). Proceed to the very end of the road to the Mine Landing.
If you have your own boat, you can come over on your own. Just head
left; we are the second island on the right. The cottages are numbered
sequentially, so just look for your cottage and land at the dock in
front of your cottage. If you require transportation to the island,
call us (at 237-8965) from the phone booth. Do not unload your vehicle
until the shuttle boat gets there (as you may end up carrying
everything further than you need to).

Houseboat Arrival Instructions:
When you arrive in the
Temagami area (just south of the town of Temagami), turn left onto the
Lake Temagami Access Road if you're coming from the south, or right if
you're coming from the north (watch for our sign). If you have a cell
phone, please call us (at 705-237-8965) just as you turn off Highway 11
onto the Lake Temagami Access Road to let us know your arrival time
(cell service does not work at the landing). Otherwise drive to the
Mine Landing, and call us from the phone booth there. Note: Your final
destination point is the Manitou Landing (it has no pay phone), but you
need to let us know when you will be there, so we can bring the
houseboat over. The houseboat will be brought to the Manitou Landing
for you to board directly; do not unload your vehicle until the
houseboat gets there (as you may end up carrying everything further
than you need to). An orientation will be provided and geared to your
experience level. Please be patient; sometimes we have more than one
group arriving on the same day.
